CONNECT TO EDUROAM

Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure wireless network and roaming-access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam is available to Smith students, faculty, and staff and can be accessed at Smith, the other Five Colleges, and educational institutions worldwide.

Important Information:

  • Changes as of June 2020 - The Smith Wi-Fi network was upgraded on June 18, 2020. As a result, existing eduroam users will need to update their eduroam network settings on their devices. For step-by-step instructions, visit Update Your Eduroam Settings

  • To use eduroam the first time, you will need to configure your device’s network settings while on the Smith campus. To configure and connect your device, follow the Set up and Connect Your Device instructions below.

  • If you plan to travel to other institutions, be sure to connect your laptop or device to eduroam while on the Smith campus at least once before you travel. This will ensure that your network settings are configured properly. For a list and map view of eduroam locations, visit: https://monitor.eduroam.org/map_service_loc.php
