Wholeness Wednesdays

It’s important to put yourself first, and take opportunities to destress and take a break. Two Wholeness Wednesday activities are held every week, one in the Mwangi Center and one in the Campus Center. Location and time varies each week.

Open Hour Sessions and Health Topic Consultations

Fall 2019 wholeness open hours are held every Monday and Wednesday, 3–5 p.m., at the Schacht Center for Health and Wellness. Drop-ins are welcome.

  • Tobacco Cessation Consultation
    Interested in quitting smoking? Come talk to Kris Mereigh and take the first steps.
  • Time Management and Stress Management Consultations
    Having trouble keeping track of your schedule or getting organized to help reduce your stress? Come by and speak with Kris Mereigh about getting organized and adding wellness into your life to manage stress.
  • Nutrition Consultations
    We can refer you to community providers for consultations on general nutrition, diets, eating disorders, weight management, anemia and more.

Stress Relief/Sleep Kits

Stressed? Having trouble sleeping? Pick up one of our free stress relief/sleep kits in Room 202 of the Schacht Center.

Kizomba Dance

Join Wellness Services and McCoy Jamison for a night of connection as you dance the night away with other people. Open to all levels and beginner-friendly. Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. in Ainsworth 151.

Acupuncture Services

Group acupuncture will be offered to students, starting October 11, on Mondays and Friday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and, starting November 18, Mondays and Fridays, 1–4:30 p.m. Initial visits are one hour long; follow-up visits are 45 minutes. Current students may sign up for an acupuncture appointment, free of charge. For more information, please call 413-585-2250.

Pet-a-Pet Day

Pet-a-Pet Day’s 20th anniversary is October 23. Join us at lunchtime and pet fuzzy friends of all sizes!

Health Education for Classes, House Teas and Student Organizations
