Dear Colleague,
The Center for Child and Family Health has a job opening, and I would appreciate your help in forwarding this information to recent graduates (for schools of Social Work, Public Health etc.) or anyone else you think may be interested. The position is for a Clinical Research Specialist, which supports the data/training/evaluation work we do at CCFH. This is not primarily a clinical position, although there is some contact with clients/families. A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
The position involves organizing, collecting and maintaining data for several projects; generating reports for our agency, funders, and others; interfacing with Duke IRB; attending research meetings at Duke as a liaison for CCFH’s research activities; contacting clients for quality improvement for the Post Adoption Support Services project; assisting with tasks related to training clinicians in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and for training professionals with a domestic violence project; organizing meetings (creating agendas, notetaking); ordering supplies; and other general support for trainings and events (e.g., managing recruitment and registration, booking space and catering, communicating with presenters).
Although the position is located at our non-profit office, this is a position through Duke University. The official job description and online application process can be accessed through Duke’s HR website here:
