Charlotte and the Quiet Place, a mindfulness-themed picture book by Deborah Sosin MSW ’82, has been selected by SpellBound, a tech startup, to star in their current Kickstarter campaign to further develop a 3D augmented reality app. The app transforms picture books into interactive experiences, complete with music and narration, and is designed to help entertain, distract, and calm children who are experiencing the stress and trauma of hospitalization. The Kickstarter project will also supply books to adopted and foster children served by Hands Across the Water. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1581417118/bring-charlotte-to-3d-life-with-spellbound?ref=368750&token=e118b212
