The School for Social Work believes in the importance of mentorship and supervision. Over the course of your academic program, you will have numerous opportunities to benefit from the knowledge and experience of mentors who can guide you to excel—in the classroom, in your research and in the field.
M.S.W. advisers provide academic advising and may be consulted as needed.
- Advisers for first-summer M.S.W. students are the instructors of the 101/102 practice sequence.
- Advisers for second-summer students are the instructors of the 301/302 practice sequence.
- Advisers for third-summer students are resident SSW faculty and are randomly assigned by the registrar.
