Five College Circle of Scholars
The Five College Circle of Scholars (5CCS) is a program available to students who are completing (or have completed) an undergraduate degree at one of the Five Colleges and who are interested in applying to the Smith College School for Social Work for their Master of Social Work.
SSW offers a nationally recognized, 27-month graduate program in clinical social work with a unique commitment to anti-racism. Through rigorous internships at sites across the country, we train our students to become exceptional clinical social workers, dedicated to social justice and to creating change in the world.
Scholarships and Other Benefits for Five College Circle of Scholars
Application fee waiver
Priority in admission decison making
(and an admission decision before the winter break!)
Priority in grant-funded financial aid from SSW (ranging from $3,000-$22,000/year)
Consideration for the Five College Merit Scholarship Award ($3,000)
Consideration for the Ann M. Pappi Scholarship
Preference in the geographical location of your field internship
Qualifying criteria for the Five College Circle of Scholars program
Have graduated from (or be about to graduate from) one of the Five Colleges.
Apply by November 30.
