The Smith College Handbell Choir was founded in 1984 by the college's organist Grant Moss. The handbells were a gift to the college from Elinor Frantz Clarke '34.
The choir rehearses and performs throughout the academic year in various venues, including Protestant and Catholic worship services, Family Weekend, Montage, Advent Dinner, and Christmas Vespers. In addition, the Handbell Choir performs in off-campus community concerts.
The choir meets to practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 p.m. in John M. Greene Hall. For information about events or services, contact Grant Moss.
