Maria holds degrees in Mathematics and Statistics, Resource Economics, and Public Policy, and can help students with course-based material, seminar projects, and senior theses. She has deep knowledge of R and Stata, and she is familiar with Excel and PSPP/SPSS.

  • Analia can offer the most support with EGR 100 (Moore, Guswa), EGR 110 (Moore, Kinsinger), and EGR 270 (Mikic). She is also happy to help with EGR 290 (Ismail), EGR 374 (P. Voss) calculus (MTH 111,112, 222) and PHY 117.
  • Annick is primarily supporting EGR 374 and can also help with all the 200 level engineering courses.
  • Annie is primarily supporting EGR 290, thermodynamics, and can also answer questions related to EGR 110.
  • Catherine is supporting quantitative skills in the EGR 100 courses and supporting circuits (EGR 220), and she is comfortable with mechanics, (EGR 270).
  • Charlotte is primarily supporting EGR 110 and is willing to help with any core engineering class.

Math TAs

The Math TAs are available Sunday - Thursday evenings 7-9 pm in the Math Forum on the third floor of Burton Hall. The TA's are eager to welcome you and to support your progress in mathematics.
To enter Burton at night, you'll need to enter the Science Center with your one card either at the main entrance of Burton or via the Sabin Reed door across from McConnell with the wheelchair ramp.

Math TA's can help you with difficulties and questions in the courses: MTH 102, 111, 112, 153, 211, and 212.

The dedicated Discrete TA  for MTH 153 is Willow, available on Sundays and Thursdays from 7-9pm.

  • Angelica is a Math Post-Bac who can help with Intro to Data Science (SDS 192), statistics, Multiple Regression (SDS 291), and coding with R.
  • Cecilia a Math and Biology double major. She's an Ada Comstock Scholar and mom to two kiddos. She's taken Calc I-III, Discrete, Graph Theory, Linear Algebra, Stats etc. In biology, BIO 132 and Microbiology are my most recent classes, and I've taken some physics as well as general and organic chemistry. I like R studio, Matlab, and Latex. I'm happy help with whatever you are working on!
  • Chujun is a sophomore, math major. She has taken Discrete Math(MTH153), Linear Algebra (MTH211), Combinatorics (MTH212) and Intro Microeconomics (ECO150). She can also help with Python. 
  • Echo is a sophomore engineering major who has taken intro and core Engineering courses (100, 110, 290), Calculus III, Chemistry (118, 222, 223) and intro Economics courses (150, 153). She can also help with Python and R Studio.
  • Emily is Math Post-Bac who can help with calculus and linear algebra.
  • Eve is a sophomore physics and chemistry double major. She has taken Calculus III (MTH212), Intro to CS (CSC111), Intro Chemistry (CHM118), Organic Chemistry (CHM222, 223), Physical Chemistry I (CHM331), and upper level physics (PHY210, 215, 317). She is currently taking advanced chemistry classes (CHM 326, 328, 363) and E&M (PHY318). She can help with calculus, Python, chemistry, and physics.
  • Grace is a senior economics major who can help with economics, calculus, and statistics.
  • Lauren is a senior engineering major. She has taken Calc I, II, and III; introductory macro- and micro- economics; Physics 117 and 210; and the core engineering classes.
  • Lucy is a junior Math major who has taken Calculus II&III, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, Intro Stats, Experimental Design& Research analysis. She has also taken economics core courses such as Intro Micro/Macro and Intermediate Micro/Macro. 
  • Nicki is a post baccalaureate in math who can help with any math course, including calculus and linear algebra. 
  • Rachel is a sophomore math major who can help with Calculus I.II.III, linear algebra, intro to micro&macro and python. 
  • Riley is a senior math and economics double major who can help with intro stats, multiple regression, machine learning, R, mathematics, and economics.

  • Minji is a senior double majoring in SDS and PSY who has taken introductory statistics, Research Design and Analysis, Multiple Regression, Visual Analytics, Introduction to Data Science. I am familiar with R Studio, and I am proficient with R. I can assist with topics from any of these classes.
  • Rutendo is a junior majoring in Statistical and Data Sciences. I have taken Intro to Data Science, Introductory Statistics, Machine Learning, Multiple Regression, Communicating with Data and the Research Seminar on Intergroup Relationships. I can assist with topics from any of these classes.
  • Zixian is a junior majoring in SDS. I am really familiar with R.  I have taken SDS 192, 220, 235, 291 and 293 and I can help with any questions from these classes.
