Daniel Berrigan

DANIEL BERRIGAN‘s considerable literary achievements are often overlooked in the context of his heroic life. A Jesuit priest and social activist, Berrigan has authored over fifty books, including Time Without Number, which won the Lamont Poetry Prize in 1957, and most recently And the Risen Bread, in addition to his historic acts of civil disobedience.
