Smith College will collaborate with Oxfam America to host a day-long Advocacy Institute on January 23, 2012. Two panel discussions and workshops in the Smith College Conference Center will bring students together to learn more about global hunger and to build social justice advocacy skills.
The Advocacy Institute is open to all students at the Five Colleges and is sponsored by the Center for the Environment, Ecological Design and Sustainability; the Global Studies Center; the Office of the Dean of the College; and Oxfam America. Enrollment is currently full and we are maintaining a wait list.
