About the Symposium

The Second International Symposium on Nuclear Symmetry Energy, NuSYM11, will be held June 17–20, 2011, at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.

For those attending the June 12–17 Gordon Conference at Colby-Sawyer College, Northampton is located about 100 miles south of New London and we hope that many of you will be able to extend your stay in New England. The NuSYM11 organizers will try to coordinate, or recommend, bus transportation from New London, N.H. for those wishing to travel to Smith.

The format of the symposium includes general talks, oral contributions and posters. PhD students and post doctoral fellows are encouraged to participate. The conference language is English.

Anyone wishing to attend the symposium should register before May 15. Reservation of accommodations, transportation and payment of conference fee will be required later.

The workshop registration fee will be $120. This fee covers coffee breaks, lunches and the special reception on Friday night.
