Smith Staff to Exhibit Wide Range of Artwork During Annual Show

 

NORTHAMPTON, Mass.- Over 30 staff artists from across the Smith College campus will be exhibiting their artwork at the annual "Staff Visions" exhibit taking place from Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 29, in the Book Arts Gallery of Neilson Library. An opening reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 4, in the gallery. A gallery talk by participating artists will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13. The reception, talk and exhibit are all open to the public, free of charge and wheelchair accessible.


Representing administrative, administrative support and service staff, the participants will be presenting works in a wide range of media, from photography to pencil drawings to collage and jewelry.


Gallery hours are M­ F, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sa-Su, 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; except from March 18 to 22 when the hours will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed March 17.
