Senior Workshop “From Backpack to Briefcase.” A financial survival guide for the world after graduation, this workshop will teach seniors about budgeting, debt management, credit cards, student loans, benefit packages and more. 2-5 p.m., Stoddard Auditorium

Awards ceremony The Northampton Historical Commission’s annual presentation will cite the Brown Fine Arts Center, Lyman Plant House and Conservatory, and other local buildings. 4 p.m., Lyman Plant House Lawn*

Theater Marsha Norman’s Getting Out; Jessica Franz ’03, director. This first play by the author of 'night, Mother is a vivid portrait of the first 24 hours of freedom in the life of a woman paroled after serving an eight-year prison sentence.
