Important Changes for Sending Mail to Students
Beginning July 29, all students will obtain their campus and U.S. postal mail from a small number of automated lockers located on the garden level of the Campus Center. Distribution to faculty and staff offices will remain unchanged. Because the number of mailboxes has been significantly reduced to accommodate the locker system, mass mailings that are not individually addressed to students will no longer be distributed. Those mass mailings that are individually addressed may take several weeks to be distributed. Some departments may already have mailings scheduled for fall distribution. Should your department need to send a mailing to entire classes or the entire student body, please contact Laura Smiarowski at email@example.com or ext. 2200. A transition team will assist with a method to reach your constituents this semester and help develop a sustainable and effective communications strategy for spring 2014 and beyond. As always, the college encourages communication through eDigest, which is distributed twice a week during the academic year.
