TODAY: Energy Saving Lighting Fair

View a flyer of products available at today's Energy Fair.

In an effort to help Smith employees, students and their families save money and energy at home, as well as help protect our planet’s environment, Smith is hosting an Energy Saving Lighting Fair today, Thursday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., in the Campus Center, where you can purchase a variety of high-quality energy-efficient lighting products at deep discounts from an ENERGY STAR® certified vendor.

The lighting fair is part of the Mass Save® Program, and is sponsored by National Grid. Lighting Fairs offer education about the features and benefits of ENERGY STAR lighting, as well as great prices on energy-saving products that help lower the cost of ratepayers' energy bills, and reduce our nation's carbon footprint. The Mass Save Program, which all residents contribute to through their energy bills, enables us to offer these products at special prices for you to purchase and use at home. It's a win-win for everyone to "Go Green".

View a flyer of products available at the fair—take notice of the great “Mass Saver Combo Special” that includes 12 CFLs, 1 floor lamp (bulbs included) and 2 LED sensor night lights, all for $10 (regular retail price: $120)!

In preparation for the lighting fair, be sure to do an inventory of the lights you need to replace in your home. Methods of payment will be cash or check only (no credit cards); sales tax will be applicable.
