Dewey House, the original Smith
residence and once-regal center of campus social activity,
is getting a much-needed extensive interior and exterior
renovation, including new siding, structural reinforcements,
updates to mechanical systems, improvements to its energy
efficiency, and much more.

renovation of Dewey House, inside and outside.

the wood clapboard siding is being replaced, except
on the front of the building, where the original siding
will remain.
