Alum Featured in Elle
Yamini Mehta
’93, the head of Modern and Contemporary Indian Art
for Christie's in New York, is featured as one of Elle
magazine's Women 2006 in the January edition. After studying
literature and art history at Smith, Mehta dabbled in journalism
with The Times of India before returning to New York,
her hometown, and joined Christie's after a stint with another
auction house, assisting the fast growth of Indian art.
