As accessioning archivist for the Sophia Smith Collection, her job reminds her of Christmas every day. Opening boxes when they first arrive, she assesses incoming materials for historical significance, teaching potential, and preservation needs. She provides on-site student instruction, answers long-distance reference requests, and sits on the advisory committee for the Archives Concentration.
