As the Libraries Redesign Project Manager, Allison Page is responsible for all the special library operations related to the redesign of Neilson Library. She serves as liaison between the library staff and the design and construction teams, devises and oversees plans for moving all the library contents to their temporary and permanent homes, and works with Smith College Facilities to identify and create new temporary library and study spaces to support student staff and student needs throughout the construction period.
Before joining Smith College, Allison spent 12 years as an independent consultant specializing in the management of commercial and residential green building projects around Western Massachusetts. Prior to that, she created and ran economic development programs for the cities of Richmond and Berkeley, California. Off-duty Allison likes to garden, cook and manage Lego building projects with her two children.
