Accompanied by Lazarus Center staff, students will visit alumnae and other professionals working in one of five fields in Boston on Thursday, January 19, 2017:
- Government/Non-Profit - THIS TRACK IS FULL
- STEM/Biotech - THIS TRACK IS FULL
Bus transportation from campus to Boston and back may be available.
There will be three or four site visits for each track, and the day will end with a networking reception with Smith alumnae at a Boston restaurant. Attendance at all site visits and the reception is required.
You may attend ONE track. Indicate your first choice (and a second choice if you have one) on the application.
Applications will be accepted ONLINE ONLY
on a first-come basis until Sunday, December 18.
To apply, submit the online application which includes a 200-word statement explaining why you want to participate in Career Tracks, why you’ve selected your first choice track (and second choice if we are not able to give you your first choice), and what you hope to gain from the program. Students selected for the program will be notified via e-mail at the close of the application period.
FEES & TRANSPORTATION
A non-refundable $25 program fee (cash only) must be submitted to the Lazarus Center by those admitted to the program no later than Thursday, December 22, at noon.
NOTE: The fee is required even if you do not need transportation.
Students selected will receive an orientation from their track leader.
