ITS Ticketing Email Notification and Web Application
Welcome to Smith’s new ticketing application! We hope you like the look of the email notifications. On January 16, 2020 the IT Service Center will launch a new ticketing application along with the new email@example.com.
When calling or emailing the IT Service Center or Class, Event & Media Support for assistance, you will notice the new email notifications will come from Smith TDX Notification (firstname.lastname@example.org). The example below is how it will be listed in your inbox.
When you open a Smith TDX Notification email you will notice the the blue and gold heading that displays the ticket number and subject of the ticket. Under the Ticket Summary is the ticket information.
From the Links to Ticket Details click the first link for Smith account holders. This will open your ticket. You have a few options, you can Withdraw your request or Add an Attachment. You can also add more details to an existing ticket by placing a comment in the Feed area by clicking on Comment. As your ticket moves to completion you will be able to follow along and see who is working on your ticket, at anytime through completion.
