By Girls, For Girls is a 2 week class taught during the Smith College Summer Science and Engineering Program. On the first day the girls answered the question "What do girls need to know to be healthy and safe?" Both sessions brainstormed a very long list of answers, over 40 topics long. Over the course of the two weeks the class explored the many different topics initially identified. The course is taught using a combination of lecture, film, and discussion based sessions. On this website you will find 10 research topics that were explored and written by each of the students in the class.
