Summer Research Project 2013

Mill River Invasive Species Mitigation Project, "Tap Map"

Funded by the Facilities Management Department and the Gayle Maloney Fund

Use GIS software to tag, map, and track populations of invasive species in target areas above and below Paradise Pond on the Mill River. Guide efforts by interns and Botanic Garden staff to eradicate identified invasives in target areas.  Contribute to the College's annual report to City Conservation Commission on the invasives project.

Complete work on "Tap Map" of outdoor spigots on campus using ArcGIS software to show locations of spigots, buffers representing hose lengths, and working status of taps.
