Judy B. Messer has been
working in the medium of
photography for over 19
years. The Botanic Garden at
Smith College first captivated
Judy when she was searching
for fresh air and walking
grounds not too far from home.
Over the years, unique visual
elements in the gardens called
to her, and she began a
photographic journey that
continues to this day.
Under her command, the
camera transforms
commonplace garden settings
into unexpected beauty. The
exhibition also features
exquisite colorized images that
the artist hand paints with oils
in an almost watercolor like way.
