Overview

Applied

Design Clinic is a two-semester applied design experience for senior engineering students at Smith with real projects for real clients.

Collaborative

Teams of three or four students work under the guidance of a faculty adviser and one or more technical liaisons from the sponsoring organization.

Proven

Since 2003, Design Clinic students have completed 150+ projects with 75+ sponsoring organizations.

Professional

Project work is supplemented by weekly seminars on topics related to engineering design and professional practice, preparing students for engineering careers and advanced education.
