Location Change to On-Campus COVID-19 Testing Program

CIRT Update

Published March 27, 2022

Dear students, staff and faculty:

Beginning Monday, March 28, 2022, the Campus Center COVID-19 Testing Site will be moved out of the Carroll Room and into room CC 103/104 on the first floor of the Campus Center.

To avoid long lines in this new location, it is critical that you schedule your appointment in advance. Additionally, please bring your OneCard and have it out before entering the testing site.

Hours of operation will continue to be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and appointments must be scheduled at the Asymptomatic Covid-19 Screening Clinic website.

Self-administered test kits will also be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Campus Center Chapin Lawn entrance to minimize wait times during peak hours.

Self-Administered Covid Testing Instruction (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. only)

  1. Self collection kits will be available in a bin attached to a red cart – please remove one kit and fill out the required information using clear, legible handwriting. If a sample is not clearly labeled, it may be discarded.
  2. Use the enclosed swab and vial to collect your test sample using the same procedures you have followed at the test site.
  3. Place your vial back into the plastic bag and deposit it in the clearly marked drop box for collected test samples.

If you have questions or are confused about how to complete the steps, please follow the directions on the kiosk describing where to reach out for assistance. Samples submitted during this time will be collected promptly at 1:30 p.m. and processed for collection.

We appreciate your partnership in the continued success of our asymptomatic testing program. This location will allow increased programming of the Carroll Room while ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of our testing site.
