About Dean Rossi-Reder

Dean Rossi-Reder holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in medieval studies from the University of Connecticut, and a B.A. in medieval studies from Mount Holyoke College. She was a class dean at Connecticut College for 11 years before coming to Smith. Dean Rossi-Reder has lived in Italy and England, where she studied medieval bestiaries and Anglo-Latin manuscripts. She has taught courses in medieval literature, British women's contemporary literature, and Latin at The College of Idaho, Baylor University and Connecticut College. Her hobbies include cooking and painting.
