The Smith College Lazarus Center takes part in several career fairs and interview days to help introduce students to a larger, more varied employer base. Employers that do not recruit on campus will often participate in these events.

The ECF is a unique opportunity for students to expand their network or to find an exciting position in Europe.  No matter what you are looking for - from summer internships to leading management positions - at the European Career Fair 2017 you can find it all.  

Registration, resume upload and entry to the fair are free.  We invite everyone who is interested to sign up! Students, PostDocs, young professionals from all over the US are welcome and encouraged to submit their résumé prior to the fair to be selected for interviews and a complimentary résumé workshop.

This career fair is the largest of its kind in the United States with 100 expected companies, universities and research organizations from the Science, Technology, Engineering and the Finance/Consulting sector representing exciting opportunities in Europe.

The Massachusetts Educational Recruitment Consortium (MERC) is dedicated to facilitating the hiring process in education and related fields. This partnership between higher education and school personnel from across the country produces one of the finest annual recruiting events of its kind. * Those interested in attending this year's fair should attend a brief orientation to learn more about the event and obtain the required admission packet. Each year, MERC holds an education career fair to which all Smith students are invited, whether or not you are an education major or seeking certification. *Please RSVP for the meeting to Lazarus Center Assistant Director Janice Schell at jschell@smith.edu. Before the orientation, students should log onto the MERC website periodically to view the registered employers and anticipated job openings.

SSW Resume Collection
Summer 2018
Organizations will post positions open to SSW graduates to collect resumes for potential interviews. After the student application deadline, employers will receive a candidate bundle and can reach out to selected candidates to set up an interview.

STEM Career Fair at Fenway Park

Join us at Fenway Park on September 25th to meet with executives from various companies within the STEM industry! This is a great networking event that comes with a ticket to see the Red Sox take on the Toronto Blue Jays. The first annual STEM Career Fair offers career opportunities for eager professionals and current college students looking to break into the STEM industry. The registration fee includes admission to the career fair and a ticket to the Red Sox vs. Blue Jays game at 7:10pm. Dress code is business professional. Please bring copies of your resume and business cards (if available).
