Throughout the world, monsters have found their way into the human imagination... and children’s closets. From early Greeks myths to the contemporary Japanese horror genre, monsters of many types persist and have been created by major artists. In this Cunningham Corridor installation of works from SCMA’s permanent collection, visitors will see imaginary creatures depicted by Rembrandt, Goya, Blake, Picasso, Kuniyoshi, and other artists.
