Student Program/Video Screening + Talkback Session
In recognition of the 28th annual World AIDS Day/Day With(out) Art, SCMA is pleased to collaborate with Visual AIDS to host a weekend-long screening of seven new, innovative short videos entitled ALTERNATE ENDINGS, RADICAL BEGINNINGS.
On Friday, December 1, World AIDS Day/Day With(out) Art, SCMA will offer a timed screening and student talkback session about these videos.
This program is offered in partnership with PRISM, the Black Students' Alliance of Smith, and the Smith Student Event Committee.
Curated by Erin Christovale and Vivian Crockett for Visual AIDS, ALTERNATE ENDINGS, RADICAL BEGINNINGS prioritizes Black narratives within the ongoing AIDS epidemic.
The videos will be shown continuously in SCMA's Video & New Media Gallery on December 1, 2 and 3, during regular museum hours.
