Smith College offers men and women graduate work leading to the following degrees:

Special Programs

  • The Diploma Program is open to international students interested in one-year of interdisciplinary study at Smith.
  • The postbaccalaureate program in math is for women with bachelor's degrees who did not major in mathematics as an undergraduate but would like to prepare to pursue advance study in a mathematics program.
Smith College School for Social Work

For students interested in pursuing either a master's or doctorate in social work, the School for Social Work handles its admission process independently. For more information, please visit the School for Social Work website.

Eligibility

To enter a graduate degree program, a student must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, an undergraduate record of high caliber and acceptance by the department concerned.
