Biography

Through her work as Head of Special Collections Public Services, Leslie supports all researchers in making connections with the past that unlock meaning today. Leslie leads a team, and collaborates with other staff, to provide a wide variety of public-facing Special Collections activities, including reference, in-person Reading Room visits, outreach, events, exhibitions and instruction. She is especially dedicated to collaborating with and mentoring undergraduate students. Prior to joining the Smith College Libraries, Leslie was Head of Archives and Special Collections at Mount Holyoke College. She began her career at The Morgan Library & Museum as a curator in the Department of Literary and Historical Manuscripts.
