Faculty can apply for up to $1,000 in funds to support a Community-Based Learning (CBL) course or a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) project, including field trips, guest speaker honoraria, meeting costs and materials for learning/research activities and reports.
How to Apply
Please submit the application below in June for courses to be taught in the fall semester and in November for courses to be taught in the spring semester.
Requests are subject to approval by the provost. Please support and explain each item's relationship to teaching and learning.
If approved, you will be asked to submit all expense receipts to the JCCE director. Funded faculty are required to participate in an end-of-the semester meeting to evaluate and reflect on their semester's experience as well as to complete the agreements listed at the end of this application.
