Roger (Boomer) Pinches is a lecturer at Smith College and a summer instructor for the School of the New York Times. He received his master’s in creative writing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2011. His fiction and poetry have appeared in The Sun, Tin House, Narrative, The Massachusetts Review, jubilat, PANK, The Austin Review, matchbook, notnostrums and Best New American Voices. He has been the recipient of residencies from the MacDowell Colony, the Corporation of Yaddo and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
