Biography

Katherine Saik (soprano) received her bachelor's of music in voice performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a master'ss of music in voice performance from the Manhattan School of Music. 

Saik regularly appears in operas, recitals and as a concert soloist across the region. Operatic roles include Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Idamante (Idomeneo), Nedda (Pagliacci), and Mimi (La Bohème). In 2015, Saik joined the management team of Panopera, which presents professional grand opera in the Pioneer Valley.

While specializing in classical music and opera, Saik is equally comfortable in musical theater and popular genres. In addition to teaching voice and performing, she also works with youth in the performing arts as a stage director and acting coach.
