Ways to Give

Announcements
New Tax Benefit: As well as supporting Smith, donors who make a 2021 donation to the college may qualify for an additional tax break. The CARES Act, signed into law on March 27, 2020, and extended on December 27, 2020, allows a reduction in taxable income for donors who do not itemize their deductions. This adjustment is available for cash gifts to public charities and is limited to $300 per taxpayer (or $600 for a married couple). If you do itemize, the limit for charitable donations has been increased to 100% of AGI for 2021.
