Alumnae Relations

At 53,000 strong, the alumnae network is one of the most powerful benefits of a Smith education. Your connection to this remarkable global community begins on day one of your Smith experience and continues throughout your lifetime. You’ll find fellow Smithies nearly everywhere. Build your network and strengthen your connection to Smith by enjoying all the benefits of being a Smith graduate: local clubs, regional events, Reunion, the Smith Alumnae Quarterly, and career and professional development opportunities. The Office of Alumnae Relations is here to ensure that your Smith afterlife is just as enriching as your time as a student.

Global Illumination 2021

See the widespread support for the class of 2021. Each glowing orb represents a lantern lit by a Smith College community member around the world. The map is a collaborative effort by the Office of College Relations, the Office of Alumnae Relations and the Spatial Analysis Lab. Congratulations, graduates!

Smith Alumnae Quarterly

“Having waded into this new world, I think we’re more comfortable with adversity, so when things improve it’s going to seem like skiing downhill. It’s going to feel easier.”

—Margaret Nyamumbo ’11, owner of coffee wholesaler Kahawa 1893, SAQ, Spring 2021
