Priya Seshachari Sanger is deputy legal counsel at Patreon, a San Francisco–based company that provides an online membership and merchandise platform for artists and creators to engage with their supporters, as well as a payments platform where creators get paid easily and predictably without ads. Previously, Sanger spent five years at Google as a senior-level product and payments counsel, leading product internationalization and providing consumer and business strategic advice in ads and commerce. She was also a VP and senior counsel at Wells Fargo, where she served in different attorney roles: as a product and strategy lawyer, M&A lawyer, privacy lawyer, regulatory and compliance lawyer and commercial lawyer.
Sanger served as president of the Bar Association of San Francisco, which represents 8,000 lawyer members in San Francisco and provides justice for the underserved. In addition, she is on the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights board in San Francisco.
She was co-secretary of her Smith class from 2011 to 2016, and she served as an interviewer for admission.
