As president of Catalyst Strategies, Ann provides strategic facilitation, organizational and leadership development services to corporations, nonprofits and government entities. Ann also has served as interim CEO assisting large nonprofits through significant leadership, financial and organizational transitions.
Previously, Ann served as Vice President of Strategic Planning for US Bancorp, supporting international expansion. As Interim Director of Strategic Planning for Nike Equipment, Inc., Ann led Nike’s global launch into the electronic sports performance monitoring business. She has served as an advisor to US Congressmen, City and County Commissioners, and mayoral campaigns on the East and West coasts.
Ann has an MBA in finance and marketing from the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University and a BA in Government from Smith College. She is certified in various facilitation, executive development and strategic planning techniques.
Ann is thrilled to be serving as Director on the Alumni Association of Smith College and has been active as co-chair of the Smith Club of Oregon. She serves on the board of Future 500, focused on climate change and social justice issues; and as Advisor for World Pulse, a global social network connecting women to transform their communities. She has served on the board for Planned Parenthood and as advisor to the Oregon Environmental Council.
Ann has two grown daughters; lives in Portland and Tumalo, Oregon with her husband; and enjoys art, gardening, and sports. She thrives on supporting the growth and impact of others and actively exploring the Pacific NW wilderness and corners of the world.
