Student Employment Opportunities
Academic Year
WFI Interns
Have you wanted to get involved with WFI but thought to yourself, "But I'm not an econ major" or "But I don't like math?" Have you attended at least one full WFI Learn and Lunch course? Then you are an ideal candidate to become a WFI intern. Every student, regardless of her major or minor, will have to handle her own finances during her college years and for the rest of her life.
Every academic year, WFI employs between six to eight students (not available to first-year students) to staff the center. Students are not only assigned daily tasks, but also work on semester-long projects developed by the center's faculty and staff. If you have enthusiasm for learning about personal finance, can demonstrate an aptitude for working with other students and have excellent writing, research or creative skills, please apply for a position on JobX today.
Summer Session
The summer at WFI is a very busy time of year. Each summer WFI employs two students to work closely with the director on current research. Students must have a demonstrated aptitude for statistical modeling using STATA and ability for accurately interpreting the results. Check JobX in March for position listings.
