Grinspoon Entrepreneurship Initiative
In partnership with 14 participating colleges and Universities, the Springfield based Grinspoon Charitable Foundation supports entrepreneurship education, hosts events, and recognizes students with entreprenuruial awards.
Grinspoon Entrepreneurial Spirit Awards
The Grinspoon Entrepreneurship Initiative recognizes students who demonstrate "entrepreneurial spirit" with monetary awards. Spirit Awards acknowledge a student's actions to date and encourages them to move forward in pursuit of their entrepreneurial dreams. To be considered for an award, a Smith College student must first be nominated by Professor Susannah Howe. The HGCF EI Advisory Committee makes the final decision regarding award recipients. Award winners and nominees are required to participate in the Entrepreneur Exhibit during the cocktail hour at the Spring Banquet.
