the $50 Challenge

5 Team Members*5 Days to Plan*5 Hours to Operate

This is a fun, intense, team-based activity where you get to learn by doing and let out your inner entrepreneur...and seize the chance to make money in the course of 5 hours! Come up with business ideas to impress customers visiting for family weekend 10/24-10/26/2014. Teams get to keep 75% of the profit and donate 25% of the profit to a campus organization of their choice. This is a great fundraising opportunity for campus orgs!!

Info Session & Kick Off Lecture

Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, 4:30-6:00 in Campus Center 103/104. Guest lecturer *Debby Farrington '72 will kick off the 2014-2015 entrepreneurship season and WFI staff will conduct an information session about the $50 Challenge, the upcoming Annual Elevator Pitch Competition, WFI's Spring 2015 entrepreneurship classes, as well as the 2015 Draper Collegiate Undergraduate Women Entrepreneurs' Competition at Smith. Refreshments provided.

*Debby Farrington is a founder and general partner of StarVest Partners, a New York City-based venture capital firm founded in 1998.
