Center Resources
Studies conducted over the past few decades have documented low levels of financial literacy in the United States, especially among young people. WFI's own 2005 nationwide survey of college students, indicates that female students lag behind their male counterparts when it comes to understanding the financial concepts. Many of these studies also reveal that those who do not know much about personal finance often use unreliable sources for financial guidance and information.
To aid the Smith community, the center houses an extensive library of financial publications, daily and monthly financial press, as well as access to myriad online resources. Located in the Neilson Library Archway, the center is a great place to have a cup of coffee, relax and find personal finance education materials that are just right for you.
