Historical Activities

Since 2002, WFI has offered a wide variety of activities. Our noncredit personal finance course offerings are designed to be useful to every Smith student across the curriculum, regardless of her postgraduation plans.

The center sponsors a student-run investment club, a peer program that designs financial literacy workshops for local middle and high school students and a student initiative to open a thrift store with a philanthropic focus. In addition, WFI faculty, staff and student interns have given numerous presentations on campus, in the community and for alumnae.
