We need your pledge
now, since leadership givers provide an invaluable boost in
momentum for the annual United Way campaign. If you wish to
pay in 2012, you can send a check or pay by credit card any
time between now and December 31. You may also complete your
gift or begin payroll deductions in 2013. The pledge card
will give you a number of options.
The most effective way
to reach those who need it most, and to make the most of your
gift here in Hampshire County is by donating to the Community
Care fund. Representatives from the community seek to allocate
funds among United Way partner agencies from these undesignated
gifts to best meet local needs.
Some donors choose to direct their gifts—by either choosing to support partner agencies that fall into one of four specific impact areas (Helping Children, Youth and Families Succeed; Reaching Out; Providing Health Care; or Meeting Basic Needs) or by supporting a particular initiative (Success by 6; First Call For Help; or the Endowment Fund). You may also designate individual United Way agencies or even a non-United Way agency.
Yes. The United Way of Hampshire County will list your combined pledge as a Leaders’ Circle contribution for both of your professions or businesses. Although Smith can count only 1/2 of the combined donation towards its campaign or, if donating separately to Smith and another business, the amount you actually donate to Smith's campaign, you will be listed as a Smith Leaders' Circle contributor. Please note this on your pledge form to ensure that you and your spouse/partner are listed as you want to be and that you are listed as leadership donor.

Absolutely! You are automatically

Gifts of $1,000 or more to
the annual United Way campaign are considered leadership
level gifts.
