For many years, Smith College
has rallied its community members in a campaign to raise money
for the United Way. In recent years, Smith has become one
of the leading contributors to the United Way of Hampshire
County's annual fund drive, consistently accounting for 10
percent or more of the drive 's total. Funds raised by the
United Way help local people in need in numerous ways (click
on Partner Agencies).
Smith's 2008-09 goal is to raise $160,000 and to substantially increase our participation level.
No matter how much you give, you'll be making a difference to the people in our community who need it most. Consider a $2 per paycheck payroll deduction or even a small one-time donation. Your gift will have an impact on the life of your neighbor. |
