Emily Justice Dunn received her B.A. in technical theatre and design from the University of Northern Iowa and her M.F.A. in stage and costume design from Illinois State University.
Dunn has designed costumes for Aspen Open Theatre, Concord Academy and Mesa Youtheatre. In 2001 she won an IRNE Award for Best Costume Design for Tartuffe at the New Repertory Theatre in Boston. Her set designs have been featured in performances at Mesa Youtheatre, Concord Academy, Porchlight Theatre and elsewhere.
