GETTING HELP IN MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS
The on-line help included with each Microsoft Office application provides a wealth of useful information. Office help includes written material, interactive user guides, demos and on-line training.
When Microsoft Office is first installed, it automatically provides on-line help. Click on the question mark in the upper right hand corner of the application or press the F1 key at any time.
There are several ways to help yourself from the first help screen. There is always the What's New from the previous version. There are several options for learning to use the software.
Type a question or topic in the field provided then press Enter or click Search. A list of help topics will appear. The help topics that include your search will appear.

To explore your options, log on to the Smith Portal and click the Lynda.com link on the left. Search the Lynda.com site for the software application, digital device, or business topic you would like to learn more about.
