GETTING HELP IN MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 APPLICATIONS
The on-line help included with each Microsoft Office application provides a wealth of useful information. Office help includes written material, interactive user guides, demos and on-line training.
When Microsoft Office is first installed, it automatically provides on-line help. Click on the circled question mark in the upper right hand corner of the application or press the F1 key at any time.
Type a question or topic in the field provided then press Enter or click Search. A list of help topics will appear. The default is to search "all", this means the list of help will include all forms of help that Microsoft can provide.
This example of Word Help on Headers returned 78 topics. The first three in the list are good examples of On-line training, Demos and Written material from the Microsoft site.
This icon refers to all On-line training using a self-paced lesson from the Microsoft training site. This will open your default browser and allows you to either read or listen to the lesson. Turn your speakers on to listen.
The demos require additional software to be download. "Silverlight". One way around this is to search for Demo Help.

2. This will open your browser to the Microsoft Demos Showcase.
3. You can search the Help and How-to section for additional demos.
The question mark is written documentions.
Interactive Guides
Microsoft has also created interactive guides to help you quickly learn where to find menu options, buttons, and other interface elements that are not in the same location as in Office 2003.
