Arrival & Departure Information
Arrivals
All Summer at Smith participants should plan to arrive at Smith College on June 30th between noon and 5 p.m., and should come directly to Northrop House to register.
Early Arrivals
If you are traveling internationally or from the West Coast and require an earlier arrival time, you may arrange to arrive on Saturday, June 29th. Please contact Sarah Craig by June 1, 2013 to make arrangements for early arrival.
Departures
Departures should be planned for July 13th by noon. We cannot accommodate any late departures (after 11 a.m.); it is not possible for Summer at Smith participants to stay on the Smith campus beyond August 4.
BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Students participating in Hidden Lives, Writing Workshop, and Field Studies for Sustainable Futures may take advantage of complimentary transportation to and from Bradley Airport, provided by the Office of Nondegree Programs.
Please note: Bradley International Airport (BDL), located in Hartford, Conn., is the only airport for which we will be providing this service.
Transportation Requests
All requests for Bradley Airport shuttle transportation must be received by June 1, 2013.
Please note the specific times below for this service, and plan your travel accordingly. If the assigned times conflict, it is likely that the Office of Nondegree Programs may refer the student to an outside transportation service, which the student must arrange and pay for.
From Bradley to Smith*

From Smith to Bradley
We will determine the drop-off schedule once travel itineraries are submitted; however, the last drop off will be at 9:30am on July 13, 2013, so please book travel accordingly.
