• Arrive in Geneva: August 23
• Orientation: August 26–September 13

Fall Semester 2013

• University and Smith Center classes: September 16–December 20
• Housing ends for fall-semester students: December 22
• Winter break for full-year students: December 23–January 26, 2014
• University Fall examination period (for full-year students only): January 27–February 14, 2014

Spring Semester 2014

• Arrive in Geneva (new students): January 24
• Orientation (new students): January 27–February 14
• University and Smith Center classes: February 17–May 30
• Spring vacation April 18-April 27
• Spring examination period: June 2–June 20
• Housing ends: June 22*

*In the spring, students may stay in their rooms after June 22, 2014 if a final exam is scheduled after that date, in which case the student may stay two days beyond the last exam.
